Alyssa

Meet Alyssa, age 20. She is a rising college junior working with NECA through the CPS Teach Chicago Tomorrow internship program. This summer is her first summer working with NECA and she is serving as a camp leader for elementary-aged children, planning fun and engaging activities all summer long! When she is not working, Alyssa enjoys painting. When she finishes her undergraduate studies in the field of education, Alyssa plans to become a first-grade teacher! What she loves most about working with NECA so far is working with children and learning new things from them while she also helps them learn and grow.
