Gun Violence Prevention & Reduction
Through Community Bonds, New Eclipse Community Alliance (NECA) will launch a comprehensive violence prevention and reduction program headquartered in New City and providing services to Englewood, Southwest side Cluster, North Lawndale, South Shore, and other surrounding communities across Cook County.
Food Assistance
Since March, 2017, NECA has been serving over 50 families a month through a client choice food pantry
model, which allows people seeking food assistance to choose which products they receive. This model
is a critical part of a community’s efforts to end hunger.
Home Energy Assistance
NECA can assist low-income
households by offsetting the rising cost of home energy through direct financial utility bill
assistance, furnace repair/replacement, energy counseling, as well as outreach, education and more.
